The twelve houses of Quality Terrace. The white building at the bottom of the street was formerly Manor House Farm but became the house of the pit manager. Wardley Coal Separation Plant is behind it. The village policeman used to live at No.1 and the nearby Wardley Bridge was known as  "the police bridge" by the local people.
