The John McCowie Lodge, Wadley, of the Royal Antedeluvian Order of the Buffalo's ( The Buffs) held their meetings upstairs at the 'Pool'. This picture was probably taken about 1920. Newton Lisgo is in the middle of the back row and Taylor Greenwell Cowell is on the right. In later years the Lodge moved to 'The Railway' and then to to the Royal Turf at Felling.
