At one time, the Edwards family lived in a railway carriage on Sunderland Road opposite present day Joyce Close. Martha Edwards is seen here sitting at the door. She died here in February 1931. Her husband Charlie also passed away here in June 1931. The family came from Kenninghall, Norfolk
